Lars G. Josefsson
Mr. Josefsson served as CEO of Vattenfall AB from 2000 to 2010. During his tenure the company developed from a Swedish utility to a leading European power utility. Mr Josefsson chaired up to recently The Global Agenda Council on Decarbonizing Energy in The World Economic Council. In addition to leading CoolOff Capital, he serves as member of the Boards of Robert Bosch GmbH, Brookfield Renewable Energy Partners Ltd. and Holmen AB.

Jørgen M. B. Grønneberg
Owner and manager of a leading market research company and leading management consultancies in Scandinavia. He has personally been assigned on a long-term basis as Senior Strategy Advisor to several CEO’s within energy, finance and ICT and to Nordic governments for three decades. Author of “Strategic Management, if the responsibility is yours” published by Hegnar Media Oslo April 2012, «HVEM KAN LØSE KLIMAKRISEN 2020 («Who can solves…») and «DET GRØNNE SPORET» 2022 («The Green Track») both by Kolofon Forlag AS. Torger Lien
Torger Lien, Senior Advisor at Norfund and independent consultant, joined the NODES’s board in February 2020. Torger has extensive CEO experience from SN Power AS, Fred. Olsen Renewables AS, Nord Pool AS and Norwegian Oil Trading Holding AS. In addition to his extensive international experience from Norsk Hydro AS, Torger has held numerous board positions, most recently as Chairman of the Board for Nord Pool AS. Torger Lien holds an MSc in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Trondheim (NTH).

Jon Fredrik Baksaas
Fredrik Baksaas (68) has been working in the Telenor Group from 1989 until 2015 in various management positions of which the last 13 years as CEO. Presently Mr Baksaas serves at the Boards of Ericsson, Handelsbanken and DNV to which he now is Chair of the Board. From 1918 until 2022 he was Chair of the Board of Statnett SA. Mr Baksaas also acts selectively as advisor and discussion partner to companies and start-ups including that of Management training and mentorship.

Jan Emblemsvåg
Jan Emblemsvåg has served in various senior management positions in the industry including
SVP of Ship Design & Systems at Rolls-Royce Marine and General Manager at Midsund
Bruk designing and manufacturing advanced pressure vessels. Today, he is Professor at
Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), board member, consultant, author
and speaker. His areas of expertise include operations management, product- and process
development, life-cycle analyses and renewable energy including nuclear energy. He typically
takes a techno-economic-environmental approach to develop solutions to challenges at hand.
He has written several books internationally available and dozens of internationally published
journal papers. He holds a PhD (1999) and M.Sc. at Georgia Institute of Technology (1995)
and a M.Sc. at NTNU (1994).
